One of the most exciting advances in the world of dentistry is the application of so called “CAD/CAM” technology in the restoration of teeth.

By far the most sophisticated of these computer aided dental systems is the CEREC 3D The “CEREC” enables the dentist to design, fabricate and fit natural looking, perfectly fitting porcelain restorations in a single visit, a procedure that would normally take at least two weeks!

Using this ground breaking technology, chipped and discoloured teeth can be replaced with beautiful porcelain crowns and veneers, broken down molars can be restored using porcelain inlays/onlays, and unsightly silver fillings can be replaced with tooth coloured ones.

On top of the huge savings in time and laboratory costs, the CEREC 3D also eliminates the need for impressions, temporary fillings, and requires less drilling and fewer injections.
